For Halloween we took Carlisle to Disneyland for the first time, I was Minnie and he was a little Mickey <3 and then later that night took him trick or treating at a few friend's houses and we changed to Mario, Luigi, and the little "toadstool"? guy. So cute.

Thomas gets leave for a bit at the end of this month so he'll be here for our anniversary Halloween and for Carlisle's birthday. Pretty good timing for leave. I'm glad he'll get to be here for his first trick or treating and dress up and go to Disneyland!! I've been dying to go to Disneyland!! and we're taking Carlisle this year. We'll probably go by ourselves another time too. And we're definitely gonna get Pictures taken, Carlisle is gonna look SO cute!! He has two outfits, one for Disneyland which is a mickey outfit and one for trick or treating which is the mushroom guy from Mario and i'm Luigi and Thomas is Mario. Lots of pictures, especially since he's almost ONE YEAR OLD! So crazy. Well, i'll post pictures later. Thomas won't get here til the 30th but i'm just really excited for Halloween! It's my favorite <3

A Royal Easter

I am obsessed with Disney Princesses as many of you may know so of course when my mom bought packs of decorations for the easter eggs she got me a Princess one! :D thanks mom. I spent hours with McKenzie and Hunter and made easter eggs. Hunter made little monsters, Kenzie made hippie eggs, and i made Disney Princesses. I made half hair color, and half outfit color for each princess and then i made a second egg of just their main color. I even got my little tiara hair accessory thingy and wore it haha. Kenzie had cool plastic things that melted onto the egg, and hunter's came with hair you could glue on. All in all it was pretty fun :) I made a collage of all the eggs and there's one of a grumpy Carlisle in his green easter outfit. Here's the photos..

Well, i'm totally behind in all the pictures cuz Carlisle just keeps me so busy. He's getting soooo big, over twenty pounds! and of course he always wants me to hold him up so he can stand :P My little chub-chubs is five months old already! He looooves his nemo and friends plushies. He loves playing in his exersaucer and often falls asleep in it the second i turn around for a minute. He is close to crawling but prefers standing, he can hold his head up well but just doesnt want to crawl. He likes to try to blow bubbles in his food when we feed him, sending it everywhere. He had carrot eyebrows the other day. Well, here are the latest pictures from march..

Well, we're moved to California again! Finally! Thomas is in training and then he'll go off to Afghanistan for a year. Afterwards he wants to go to Ireland, but we'll see..
Thomas is Irish and he loves St. Patrick's Day. I got him two Irish shirts a while ago too and an Irish Journal and address book for going overseas.

Carlisle is Irish too i guess and you can tell by the bit of red tint to his little blonde head. I got him a four leaf clover teether ring too haha.

Carlisle is doing great. Getting soooo big, like 16 pounds already, and Four months old. He is so active and loves to stand and kick, so much so that we've had to try out some rice cereal part of the time so he's satisfied. My little baby boy is growing up so fast, i just love him so much. His gummy smiles help me through each day. I don't know what i'd do without this sweet little angel from heaven. <3

New baby = no blogging. I'm trying to keep up on this blog but he just has me so busy, and with moving and all.. Well, Carlisle is 3 months old, getting close to four now. He is a LOT happier now, so smiley and goofy, i just love him so much. He is cooing a lot now and loves to play and smile. The poor kid is already teething, which is loads of fun for both of us.. He is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me, i am so grateful for him. I can't imagine my life without this wonderful, perfect little man. He has my heart.

Carlisle and i flew home for a while, it was so nice! I missed Cali. I missed my flight because of snow and spent 17 hours in airports with baby 0.o i'm so grateful he was a good baby. But trecking my bag, diaper bag and baby in car seat was hard! Anyways, while there i found out Thomas is getting deployed so i get to move back. Woohoo california! While there we of course took pictures so here they are..

Carlisle has been doing so well lately. Lots of improvements in many areas. He's smiled once or twice before but i never was able to catch a photo of it.. until now. Carlisle exploded in his diaper, ick, and it made his tummy feel better but then he needed a bath. So after his bath i lotioned him up and got a nice fresh outfit, layed out a blanket and put a movie on. I was playing with him on the ground and telling him how wonderful he was, so handsome and perfect and then he just started smiling! I like twisted my body around jumping up to grab the camera probably looking super cute while doing so.. and i finally got pictures so here they are :)

Christmas 2010

For christmas this year, Thomas, Carlisle and i went with Richard and LeAnn (Hamilton) up to kansas to Richard's sister's house for christmas eve, then the next day we went out to their house and stayed the night christmas night and then went home. It was so much fun tho. On our way back from Kansas we stopped by this house that had their lights synchronized to a christmas song from the Trans Siberian Orchestra that they broadcasted on a radio station.. they had lights blinking in rows to music like a piano and the christmas tree of lights that flickered in a circle, i'm not explaining well and the video doesn't do it justice but i'll put it on anyways. Well, Carlisle got lots of love and attention, it was great. They gave me a little break from taking care of him every minute and held him and fed him and everything, it was nice. Although, when we had gotten home on christmas eve we found a lovely present from Carlisle 0.o Not fun. He absolutely exploded in his cute christmas giraffe sleeper from Amy, and i mean nuclear! I even took pictures cuz i just couldn't believe it, not that they even show just how bad it was hahah. All in all, it was nice bein with Thomas's (adoptive) family :) Richard and LeAnn gave us formula for Carlisle and a tortilla maker. Kenzie got me a So Cal jacket, California pride! And we got matching nightmare before christmas snuggies. Thomas got much needed jeans, and a camo jacket like all the guys. Carlisle got a little red outfit, a baby towel from Abby and Autumn made this awesome blanket with straps on it to hook over his carseat :) I got Thomas a nightmare before christmas trivia game and he got me puzzles we can do together. Sami and her mom sent Carlisle awesome rocker clothes, and Kristal and Janice sent him cute outfits also :) I know i'm forgetting lots of stuff but i only have so much time.. But thank you to everyone who got us presents and helped us <3

Thomas's Birthday Surprise

This year Thomas had to spend his birthday at an army drill for three days :( So i was determined to have a surprise for him when he came home. I'm starting a tradition for his birthday that i make him a "better than sex" cake, aka "candy bar" cake, every year. Last year we had a surprise party for him at Peony's, his favorite restaurant, and he was so excited and happy it was cute. This year i made the better than sex cake again but put a twist on it, instead of making it in a 9X13 i made it in two round 9in pans.You start with german chocolate cake and poke holes that you fill with a mixture of condensed sweetened milk and caramel topping. Since the cake has whip cream in place of an icing it made it a white circle so rather than just grating the symphony bar and skor bars and sprinkling it on top, i chopped the skor bars into thin pieces and grated the symphony bars. I made a line of choc syrup and put the skor pieces on it for the stitches of the mouth, and used the grated candy for the eyes. And VOILA! Jack Skellington cakes! Richard and LeAnn, Thomas's foster parents, came over tonight after Thomas got back from drill and had cake with us and gave him a present. They got him a Dremil .. dremeril.. tool thing of his own so he can work on making helmets and stuff. He was pleasantly surprised to see them and see the cakes i made him and get a present and everything. So, from everyone he got a total of Jack skellington shirt from my sister kenzie and our parents, much needed jack pajama pants from me and Halo reach, cakes, martinelli's, and a dremerill. All in all i think it turned out well :)
I love my Thomas and i'm so glad i was blessed with him in my life. I know i would've ended up in a bad place if i hadn't gotten with him and had his love and support to get me through the hard times. I appreciate him and all he does for me and our little family. I Love You Thomas!! <3

My sweet baby boy is already a month old! It went by fast! I'm so excited to see him grow and learn new things, he already holds his head up most of the time and can roll halfway over and scoot himself on his back with his legs. He is so smart and so aware. I love him so much, i never knew i was capable of loving this much. I already felt that way with Thomas and now my life has changed once again. I am so happy. I just thought i'd post a few pictures from this first month..

Hospital Memories

Probably one of the most amazing and scary experiences in my life has just happened to me...... my beautiful baby Carlisle brought into this world November 10th 2010 at 11:00PM. I was at work when my wife txt me and told me she either wet the bed or her water broke.....O.o she was walking around with a towel between her legs when i got home and we went straight to the hospital at 3AM. On the way we hit two red lights that we seriously had to wait 10 minutes for each one! what seemed like 30 minutes later we were checked into our room.....where we spent the next 20 hours -.- Cassandra went through 3 epidurals (well just the meds they didnt have to poke her anymore) and thats when it started getting scary! I was actually surprised but Cassandra didnt even say any "choice" words during the rough times she just held my hand and thanked me for being there with her. i mean squeezed my hand :P The Hamiltons came down that night at 7ish and stayed there till 9 cassandra and i were both very happy they were able to make it. An hour or so later the doctor came in and poked an prodded around and next thing i knew they were taking her to surgery :( we really hoped it was gonna be a normal birth but honestly im just happy to have him here safe! <3 Haha while Cassandra was in surgery they had me keep her distracted so what was the first thing she thinks of?!?!?! Lets sing Disney Princess songs! -.- so she was totally on the operating table singing "Once upon a Dream" and "Beauty and the Beast" oh the memories! haha

Born at 11pm on 11/10/10, 6lbs 8oz and 19 inches long. 20 hours of labor, water broke at 3am and born at 11pm on his actual due date! I had one epidural that worked for a few hours and then i had pain only in the left side of my back so when i finally got another one it was amazing.. but only worked for one hour. I had about four before they finally said there was a problem and i had to have an emergency c-section. It turns out instead of the back of his head coming out, his head was tilted back and his forehead was coming out but he was stuck so c-section it was.
They took me into the surgery room and gave me more epidural stuff but i felt needle pricks and the anesthesiologist told me it was just pressure.. ?.? So i started singing Disney songs with Thomas to make myself feel better and then i started feeling the doctor cut the incision.. 0.o then the anesthesia guy put me to sleep immediately and i took a trip to wonderland. When i woke up i saw My Thomas holding a baby boy, and i realized he was mine.
I am so happy and grateful that we were so blessed and our baby didn't suffer too much and is doing so wonderfully! He is nice and calm and loves sleeping on my chest, he's very smart. He latched on within the first three hours, he hasn't wanted to eat too much tho so idk. His poor little head is purple bruised but starting to turn red so that's good. He is so amazing and i am so happy to have this sweet handsome little angel in my arms. <3

Anniversary numero uno!

Today was a great day! i came home from work and cassandra cooked me dinner, one of my favorite dishes, lasagna and garlic bread! when i came home she had it all set out and had candles lit it was very thoughtful of her and i love her very much for it :) <3 i got her something she dearly wanted for our one year anniversary, a antique phone. since she loves antique things so much! We have been married for one year! wow doesnt seem like it. We have had our ups and downs but im glad we work through our issues and come out on top loving each other more and more. Soon we will have our son in our lives and im sure it will be rough but it will be an amazing journey for all three of us, our family! So cassandra joan king thank you for everything you have done for me and i expect to spend an eternity with you and our family. i love you :)

Ultrasound #3

Well, now that i have soonercare i got my third ultrasound done. He turned around so his legs are to my left now. He still manages to kill my right ribs though.. His head is super far down as always and he has one little hand up by his head all the time. His feet were kicking away during the ultrasound and he was punching the scan tool haha. I got more pictures, you can see his heart in some and he was squishing his face during the pictures. We couldn't tell if he has Thomas's butt-chin or not.. lol.

One of my best friends, Eileen (wozny) Brisco sent me a package of presents in the mail, the box was decorated with the coolest halloween drawings by Jonny (her son) and Auriella (her daughter) helped as well :) The first thing i saw was little bags of candy which i am super grateful for haha snacks! And she got me a super soft blanket, clothes, Mickey Mouse booties which i adore cuz i had Minnie Mouse stuff when i was little. She also got me Berry spray and lotion, Jack Skellington socks, and she and krissy found a night-light turtle that glows amber/green/blue and has little star cut outs so stars glow on the ceiling. It was so sweet of her, and i'm super grateful. I took pictures of course..

Eight Months

35 weeks and 35 days to go ♥
One month left until i have a BABY! Needless to say, i'm frightened beyond all belief. It's so surreal. I told Thomas, the second i am able i am going to touch my toes and lay on my stomach. He lays on his stomach just to make me mad haha. My little baby is getting bigger and bigger and i'm feeling the pressure increase with his growth. He knows who Thomas and I are, and he knows when we're talking to him. He likes music and Thomas's voice. He hates me sleeping at all or bending over. He doesn't like when i eat because he doesn't want to give up any space, he even kicks my stomach to get it to go back 0.o haha. I'm really excited to be able to hold him n hug n kiss him. I wonder who he'll look like, any guesses? I already know he won't have very big eyes :P and he'll have dirty blonde hair.
But will he be more Cassandra or more Thomas? Vote now!

Halo helmet

Thomas has been working very hard on his pepakura project.
Pepakura involves printing out all the parts and using an exacto knife to cut out the pieces and bend/fold them in certain spots. Then you glue them together in certain spots, the diagram on the computer helps show you where to paste which parts to others. You end up with a 3D object made of paper. Thomas is taking it a step further. Once he made the helmet out of paper, he covered it in multiple layers of resin. Once hard enough, he cut out the ..screen part of the eyes that's supposed to be see-through. He has a plan on how to make a lens for that part. He's added bondo and putty-stuff to parts where the paper sunk down from the resin applications, then he sands it to make it even. It's looking really good so far. Upcoming Anniversary Present..

So Thomas and mine's anniversary is coming up in a month and he already got me my present. It was on e-bay and we had to bid now obviously. Anywho, i love antiques and old victorian stuff and have wanted an old princess rotary phone for some time. Eventually i'll get us victorian furniture too and reupholster it and everything. Thomas helped me bid on the phone and we won! It is to be my anniversary present early. Here are some pictures so you guys can see too <3

Isn't it gorgeous! I'm so excited. We got it for a steal too, these can get up to a couple hundred. Happy Anniversary to me! haha. Now i have to figure out what to get thomas. Probably more stuff for his latest hobby. I'll figure it out.. THANK YOU THOMAS MY DARLING.

Project time

I love DIY projects and yesterday when thomas and i went walking through main street to the antique shops and salvation army we found a few things for me to transform. Anyone who had been in my room before will remember my black victorian-style mirror that i love. I got it at D.I. for 5 bucks and painted it. Don't have a before picture for it though. Well this time i got a big square mirror and two wall sconces. Mirror was 5 bucks and the sconces were 2. Get some walmart paint and voila! Here are the before and after pictures of everything..

Thomas also has been working on a project call Pepakura. There's diagrams on the computer that show you each part of the project and each piece and where it connects and you cut out the pieces and fold them and put them together. Once you've made the item in paper, you cover it in fiberglass or something. He of course chose a helmet from the HALO video game. I actually prefer projects like this because he has something to show for it, and he can actually use the helmet when finished.

oh and Autumn wanted me to post the record wall i did. I painted the center of the records with zebra print and tacked them up on the wall. They got warped in the sun on accident but i thought the "ruffle" effect was kinda cute so i put em up anyways :)

It's just little cheapy stuff for now but eventually when we have more money i'm going to get real antique stuff, lots of victorian style things and re-do them. Especially things like furniture and chandeliers and stuff. Until then.. just thought i'd post this and show you guys what we've been up to :)

Seven months

November is getting close, i'm totally terrified. Baby boy had found my ribs and it's the most entertaining thing for him so far, more than my organs. He is just like his momma, total night owl, keeping me awake aaall night. I can't wait til my next ultrasound, idk when it'll be tho. Here's the picture from seven months..

Hamilton love

Richard and LeAnn Hamilton came to visit us today and brought us a wedding present since we got married in California and all. The card had little money hearts on it too <3 After we all had cookies and milk and opened our present, they took us out to dinner at Rib Crib. Our present was a Nightmare Before Christmas tree with little ornaments and everything. (It's Thomas's favorite movie.) It's totally cute, we love it. We had it on top of the fridge but put it in the living room so we can see it. They are so nice to us and always helping us out. I think Thomas was scared he was in trouble when they first said they were coming to visit haha, but it was fun. It was really nice to see them and hang out with them again. While they were here i couldn't help but see the resemblance, not in looks of course but just the way they act and everything, it's hard to explain but i love it. I took pictures of the three of them; and a few days ago their son Curtis was down visiting along with a few other of Thomas's friends so i took pictures of them as well..

Scorpion

so i found a SCORPION on the ground in the living room by the front door. I was walking to the kitchen and almost stepped on it, it's tan like the carpet. So i frolick on over to look at the supposed ball of lint and a little stinger tail pops up and it starts running. Somehow my spidey senses allowed me to turn around, grab a cup off the counter and fly around again and trap the scorpion under it. I was so scared hahah I've never seen one and have no idea if they're super poisonous or not. I took a picture tho..

Bookshelf

Thomas and i found a cheap bookshelf at Wal-Mart the other day, and had just enough to get it. I'm really excited. I finally got to take my books out of my suitcase and put them up :) They look great. I am so happy, i finally have a nightstand of sorts and we also got a cheapy lamp so i'm all set :D picture..

and i got the fourth book of the series i'm reading, to go on it too :)

LOL. I adore reading, i always have. I love books and can read them very quickly and multiple times. Thomas at first liked this, then as i finished 3 - 600page books in 3 days, he looked worried and when i asked he said that he's not buying me a new book every day haha. "If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over, there's no use reading it at all," I had to leave most of my books at my parents' house, they were all handed down to me and i hope kenzie seizes the opportunity to read them as well, i've read every one on that whole bookcase. "Reading is to the mind, what exercise is to the body." I, like most everyone else, was taught to read which is more of a gift than we understand. In the second grade my teacher Mrs. Bunch told me i should write my own books one day, she loved my stories and loved my passion for reading. She even extended my classes reading time to encourage us to read more, which made me happy. She gave me something that i can enjoy forever and i fully intend to give to my kids. "The failure to read good books both enfeebles the vision and strengthens our most fatal tendency- the belief that here and now is all there is." Books can be friends, advice, an escape, a cure, etc. Extremely powerful pieces of paper.. crazy thought. There's so many cool quotes about them that i can't find haha Well, lately the books i have been reading are The Vampire Diaries, the tv series based on it is pretty much an entirely different story but both tv series and book series are great so far. I just finished the 3rd book of 4 and i am hoping to get the last one soon. But for everyone reading this, go read something else.. I recommend some Jane Austen, or a few good LDS authors are Rachel Ann Nunes, Jack Weyland, and Anita Stansfield.

just kidding. Soccer is Thomas's favorite and i wanted to blog the pictures of his stuff before he went off to play and make it all ugly. I took a pic of all the things he's acquired to play soccer.
He got shin-guards and a pair of cleats from someone at work, which were as good as new pair. And we bought him a pair for indoor soccer at a store called Walls. They have tons of brand name stuff for half the price or less. When trucks tip over or things like that they don't want to lose the money so they sell it to Walls for less than their original destination. Anyways, so that's where we got the Pumas for him. And then we also got him a soccer ball with the last of the last paycheck. I took pictures before they get ruined..

oh VICTORIA'S SECRET how i love you. I bought these yoga pants from there at the beginning of my pregnancy. They are soooo comfy, they have a fold over top that can flip up over your stomach. It's extremely useful when my shirts don't cover my belly. They are very stretchy and you melt right into them. I recommend everyone go buy a pair, i'm glad i did. Another plus is i can wear them afterwards too, when i'm not pregnant anymore. Officially the best pregnancy purchase <3

Thomas has not had a proper childhood or family situation, and i do not like his family at all but in the next life they'll account for their share. However, Thomas told me one of his biggest blessings in life has been the Hamilton family. Thomas's childhood best friend Curtis Hamilton did scouts with him when he was younger, and he would stay the night most of the week ever since he was 11 years old. When he was 13 they took co-guardianship of him and brought him into their home.
When we got to oklahoma, they let us store our stuff in one of their rooms til we got settled. We went to Bristow last night to pick up our stuff and i got to meet them. I'd met Leann when we dropped of our stuff but Richard wasn't home. Well, first things first, hugs. They even fed us dinner, delicious steak, and ochra?? I've never heard of it, but it wasn't bad. As i talked to Richard and Leann, i started to see where Thomas came from, and what made him who he is. He credits the Hamilton's for all the good in his life and talks about how they taught him to choose the right and work for what you get. Thomas is a nerd, very smart and just knows things, he's always teaching me something. It didn't take long to see he gets it from Richard, as he explained petrification of rocks and minerals to me. They sent us home with frozen meals like gumbo and enchiladas, and i noticed Leann made sure to put corn in there for Thomas. Corn is his favorite, so watching her do that made her seem more like his mom than anything. She's a very happy person, they both are, and it's easy to see how Thomas turned out so wonderful.
They taught him very well and took care of him. I know he feels so grateful to them and loves them very much. I know i'm just blurting out information right now but i just got really emotional being there last night, i got a really cool feeling just meeting them and seeing how happy Thomas was. I almost cried when we left. I thought it was important to document it haha :) Just a little part of Thomas's life. I love you Thomas <3

Apartment life

FINALLY! We are so happy to be in a nice clean apartment of our own! But i must tell you, it would not have been possible without my parents' help. My parents co-signed our lease and everything, we are indebted to them and suuuper grateful! Moving was already stressful on me, as well as being pregnant, but with Thomas and my parents helping me i feel much better about everything. Thomas and i hate asking them for help but we had no choice, and they have been great! We just wanted to make sure and acknowledge all they've done for us, and for that matter, the baby.
The apartment is nice, When you walk in the door, to the right is the living room and the door to the patio, to the left is the dining area and straight ahead from the dining area is the kitchen. Walking straight from the front door, you reach the bedroom door. Bedroom has a closet when you walk in and go to the right, but going to the left is the bathroom. I hoped i explained that well enough. I've taken pictures though..

thomas and i finally get to use the pots we got from our wedding haha. and i already put my quilt on the bed, the quilt grandma jo made me :) i can't wait til we get furniture, then i'll put more pictures up!

Birfday Presents

Thomas spent today with me since he couldn't get yesterday off for my birthday so it was half yesterday and half today. Donuts to start the day, Halloween sprinkles :) We went around to a couple places today and picked up some random presents.We got incense sticks, 20 for 2 bucks, i got Tommy Girl scent like my perfume and French Vanilla, Peach, and Blue Raspberry. For liquid incense we got Cranberry Mandarin and a big candle of the same scent. We had to go to a smoke shop to get the incense sticks, the liquid ones we got at walmart. While at the smoke shop, we also got a White Tiger blanket which is awesome. And Thomas spotted a Flea market down in the kinda old town section, where i found a Super Nintendo SNES or whatever. We dont have any games for it and still need to see if it works, but i'm pretty excited. I'll find games on the internet, ebay has the Aladdin game i want and im trying to figure out which Power Rangers game i used to play with Wayne and Clint. Also, we went to Best Buy and got a mouse for me, eventually i'll get the matching web cam with the same pattern as the mouse. We got a lot of deals on the presents and Thomas has been nothing but extraordinarily sweet and loving to me. He made everything so wonderful. I'm lucky to have him. <3

My Birthday

Where to begin..well, the day before my birthday i threw up during dinner and continue to feel sick for my birthday as well. Thomas got up early to run to Starbuck's before work so i could wake up to French Vanilla. I stayed in bed all day trying to get better, Thomas had to work cuz no one would switch him shifts for his pregnant wife's birthday - rude! He wanted to go to dinner and stuff but i don't think that's a good idea. He has tomorrow off so we're gonna spend the day together. He is the most amazingly sweet husband, he's been taking care of me and will not stop asking me what i want for my birthday. I know he really wants it to go well, and he's sad cuz i've been feeling so gross lately and not having a very good birthday.
Most of my friends forgot, i know they're all busy and stuff but it made me sad. I thought my family forgot but i'm getting all their texts and calls now.
I like my mum's text to me, "Happy Birthday daughter dear. 20 years ago today you were born at Simi Valley Hospital after 13 hours of induced labor, and a miraculous recovery from Umbilical cord suffocation. You were meant to be here, live your life with that in mind. You are loved and hope your day goes well. Kenzie and I will Skype you later.." I liked hearing about my birth, especially cuz i've been thinking about my baby coming and everything. I was a difficult child from the start, at least i'm consistent :P
My mum n Kenzie texted and called me, dad called me, Mogan, Holli and Autumn texted me. Autumn had Skype called Thomas and I yesterday or a couple days ago, we got to talk to Wyatt kid and Molly Taylor. It sucks to not be able to be in California for my Birthday but i'm glad i have Thomas. He makes everything better. I'm so lucky to have him, and so grateful. I love him <3

I'm trying to wrap my head around what winter is. California does not have it. Thomas is telling me it snows here like crazy and i just can't comprehend what it'll be like to live here in freezing cold. Especially because it's so humidly hot it's disgusting. Well, i know that keeping your head and feet warm helps your body temperature stay up so i've been looking up crazy beanies to get haha. Some are just ridiculous..

Baby bump as of 5 1/2 months..

Well, everyone wants a baby bump picture so i thought i'd post the latest with him also.
He is a very energetic boy, especially in the middle of the night. He does react to things i say or do sometimes, concerning him. He knows when i talk about him or to him. He kicks whenever i kiss Thomas too lol. He loves his daddy and only calms down when Thomas touches or talks to my belly. I'm amazed at how connected we are. I still have really bad dreams about the baby and thomas occasionally. I am turning into the biggest worry-wart which is weird. I worry that something will happen, or go wrong or whathaveyou..
I do wish i would've timed it better so we aren't struggling to support him but i love him no matter what. <3

i find it hilarious that my boobs look totally small in the pictures and yet i started at a D and since pregnancy theyve only gotten bigger. frustrating tho, they grow at diff rates and are a bit uneven which i am very sensitive about, just ask Thomas.. i'm also still fairly emotional though not as bad as before, and the vomiting has stopped to once a week though i'm still really nauseous. i started out at 135 for weight and now weigh 149. 14 pounds out of the thirty youre supposed to gain. yuck. I'll keep posting pictures and everything though. And i really wanna see Holli's and Dani's too.<3

HEAVEN in a store..

I've officially found the decorative store of my dreams, i anticipate heavy spending: large ammounts, very frequently. Who needs food when this store exhists? I took tons of pictures of all the stuff that i love and want to buy, i have soooo many ideas XD movie quote= "it's my birthday gift to me..i'm so happy!" The store is called Hobby Lobby, i don't know why we don't have them in California ?.? but i'll be taking advantage of the fact that i am near one now. They have a lot of the rough kinda rock-style looking stuff, along with royal things like crowns and fleur de lis. Lots of damask and victorian looking stuff too which is the BEST! I can't even tell you how entirely stoked i am :D I took pictures so you all could see lol .. (click to enlarge)..

Well Thomas and i decided to walk to this little park next to campus, it has fountain things in the pond/lakes and really weird cyprus trees with upgrowing roots. Thomas ended up confusing streets so he walked me 3/4 of a mile in the wrong direction then we turned around and i pouted my way back to the house we were staying at, fuming. We got in the car and just drove over there but by then it was pretty dark, we missed the sunset. It was still nice tho, he even got me a lollipop. It was a good date in the end, despite me being a bit grumpy and sore. I took pictures but it might be too dark to see..

Well, we've been staying at Thomas's friend Malarie's house for a couple days but her roommate is moving in soon so we'll have to leave. His cousin said we could stay with her, but she lives in super sketchy apartments and they're kinda dirty so i'm not looking forward to it. But we have no other choice so i should be grateful.. Anyways, we move into our new apartment, that we finally found today, on August 9th. I'm so glad we finally found a nice clean apartment. The only thing we pay for is electricity, they pay everything else, cable, internet and theres also an alarm in the apt. I'm excited. My parents helped too, they co-signed on the lease so we could get credit. Now i just have to make it two weeks until we can move in >.<

CARS! there were tons of cars half-buried in the ground in a row. I was drifting off a bit but Thomas spent 45 mins looking out for this place, he knew i'd love it. The cars are all spray painted on with names and whatnot, what pissed me off was all the spray cans left on the ground :( i hate when ppl ruin a great thing by being lazy and careless. California to Oklahoma..

Worst road trip ever haha. our car was sooooo loaded. It was stuffed all the way up from headrest to headrest. All the way up to the ceiling and the trunk was packed too. And on top of that we tied stuff to the roof. The car looked pathetic. We got a switch for the radiator fan so it would work. and we had to stop every 15 minutes. We left at 230pm and got to flagstaff at 3am. Uncle Steve and Aunty Kim were sweet enough to let us stay in their guest room, and we left at about 7 that night so the car would overheat less at nightime. We drove the whole rest of the way to Bristow, Oklahoma. Stayed awake the whole time. We got there at 300pm. Now we're in Stillwater where we'll be living, once we find a place to live 0.o until then we can stay at Malarie's for a couple of days.. i'm scared tho. here's pics of the car at the spauldings, and how packed it is..

Goodbye/Early B.day Presents

Upon one of my adventures in town, browsing through the local ROSS, i found the coolest baking dishes and whatnot. For my kitchen colors i thought orange and yellow would be best, theyre warm and cozy. So when i saw these, i immediately told my mom and we decided that since i'll be in oklahoma, she'd get me my birthday present now. We got two orange jar things for flour and sugar, some casserole dishes and orange utensils. I'm so excited, i wrote down all my mom and gramma's recipes in my cook book and i'll be able to make stuff for him now :D and after ross we also went to target and returned pots and pans i got from my wedding, they were red so we traded for black. Also, Yesterday i went to lunch with Angela and Christina Funck. I've been friends with christina for a few years, she's like a little sister to me, and i got the chance to work for her mom, angela, for a while too. I love them to death. After taking me to lunch at the Olive Garden, we walked around the mall and shopped for a bit, they gave me some money to buy myself a present. I ended up buying yet another pair of shoes. A pair of silver heels. I'm excited to wear them after i have the baby. It was so nice having a girl's day and shopping, i felt more like myself. It was just what i needed <3

Relief Society Reaction..

So i went to Relief Society with Sandi and one of the things we did was make bath salts. We mixed epsom salts with sea salts and drops of different scents. I picked peppermint but my mom had me smell the lemon and the clove too, the cloves were absolutely horrible. I started to get a headache so i went to the bathroom and saw that there were red lines and splotches all over my stomach and arms, then i remembered the doctor telling me not to mess with aromathereapy or scents or anything. Especially because my family is so sensitive to medicine and allergic to most. It was really scary. So, just a warning to all pregnant ppl, be careful with aromatherapy, strong scents, lotions, etc. you never know when you might have a bad reaction to something.

My Baby Shower

My baby shower was absolutely amazing!
You guys would not believe how wonderful it was.
Dani did an amazing job on the decorations and was very generous
Everyone loved Holli doing the games and helping and everything.
Autumn pretty much remodeled the entire property with grandpa
My mom put up twinkle lights and made a baby quilt
Grandma bought me a cake too
My best friend Brit an her mom bought me a niice bouncer, toys an clothes.
EVERYONE did soooo much, it was crazy.
and a group gift was a carseat/stroller combo that has a base for th car.
i'm super grateful And i got the best presents for my baby.

We got loooots of clothes, and quite a few blankets, and lots of toys.
I'm so happy my baby will have what it needs and that ppl were
so generous. i feel very blessed and so grateful.

4TH of Julyy

Well, this year we had dinner at home instead of at the park. Everyone was there except Mogan and Dani. We had bbq chicken and cheesy tatoes and corn on the cob. I was sad i wasn't able to eat much, i loooove cheesy tatoes. We played games until it was time to go to town to see the fireworks. Thomas was sweet enough to stay home with me, but he took me up on top of the hill and we actually got to see the fireworks that were high enough. We saw the ones shot from the park and also from Pechanga. It was very romantic :) A good fourth of July.

Ultrasound #2

Well, thanks to Buford the bowl, we got me down to riverside for my ultrasound and spared the car a thorough cleaning. But it was not without suffering haha. I made it through the ultrasound too, luckily. The ultrasound tech was a very nice asian woman. She kept laughing since she looked for the sex of the baby. Apparently, he's well endowed and she found it funny. We got lots of pictures too, 11. Last time we only got three. He's making kissy faces in a couple of them, which makes him look like a duck lol. He has strong legs and i saw his kicking and flipping around. I'm gonna be in pain when he gets bigger. He is very strong and has a healthy heartbeat, i even had her check if the cord was wrapped around his neck like mine was. So far, everything is fine :) and i'm so grateful. I'll post pictures soon. Also, i decided on a jungle theme for him. I love giraffes and lions and monkeys so when i registered at target i found tons of cute jungle clothes and everything. I'm excited. I love my baby. <3

The FLU..

Weeeeeeellllll, let me just say i thought i was safe, its been a week after everyone else had it but it refused to skip me. So, as well as still being sick this far into my pregnancy, i got the FLU. Thomas calls it the plague. I have been throwing up nonstop aaallll day long, starting early this morning. Due to complications, i've remained solely in the restroom, however, thanks to a wonderful miracle from god my dad and grandpa were awake this morning nice and early. They gave me a blessing which instantly helped one of my symptoms dissappear within two or so hours. And here i am, able to sit on the couch. TADA! I have been thanking god nonstop all day and pleading with him to end this hah. I have my Ultrasound today and don't know how i'll make it down to riverside. We're gonna take Buford, my stainless steel bowl, in the car with us so i don't puke on anything. This is honestly one of the worst sicknesses ever. Top 3 for sure! yikes.. and now i need to go ..

My first Double Date!

i've never been on a date at all, not a real one. I went on a date with Thomas but after we were married so it doesn't count. But tonight, the Abreu's took us out to dinner. They've always been super nice and have done nothing but offer to help me. It was nice getting to hang out and talk with them for more than five minutes when i babysit for them. We went to chili's, i've never been but it was good, and then we talked by the pond afterward. They gave us lots of great advice and encouragement. It was funny hearing Kayli say that she liked spending time with 'people her own age' LOL. She caught herself afterwards and we all laughed. It really was nice to just enjoy an evening with people and talk. It was just what i needed, and i'm very grateful for a wonderful evening. <3

So tonight, Autumn and Grandpa were working out in the yard and planting flowers so the rest of us sat on the porch to watch lol. Hunter was in charge of the earthworms and wyatt ran around in a plastic shade hat and his diaper gabbing on in his own language. The funniest part of the evening was that wyatt declared his diaper to be trassh and put it in the trash with the weeds and all. He then continued to run around the porch and the lawn, wearing only the hat. It was funny until it was kinda gross, ..he peed on the ground lol. Then ran around in it and up to grandpa and the hose so he could wash his hands. I promptly took the pictures and made a collage clip..

Ultrasound

Just got my ultrasound done, it was amazing. My baby is smart and aware. I have three pictures of it, it has all its little toes and fingers. It Danced! It was wiggling about and i said "Look the baby's dancing," and then the baby starting moving even more! I think it can hear me :) My baby is smart, the ultrasound technician was typing for a minute then when he put the scan tool thing back on me, he found the baby's hand and the baby reached up and touched it! It was so amazing seeing it move, i felt more connected to it. Thomas and i talk to it all the time. I dont know how people don't believe in a higher power after seeing something like this. My baby is amazing and Thomas and i are so excited to meet it and love it. <3

Mother's Day - mother to be

I didn't think i was allowed to be in mother's day cuz i haven't had my baby yet, but i was. I got poppyseed muffins from sandi, and Thomas got me a beautiful present. The card had a cartoon kitten on it and the word Meow, and inside it said, that means i love you. lol. He got me a perfume from Victoria's Secret, it smells great. He's so sweet with me and rubbing my stomach and everything. I love him. <3

Just found out a few days ago that i'm Pregnant. <3

I'm gonna have a baby that's half me and half Thomas. I'm suuper terrified and excited. I'm hoping for a boy so that future daughters will have a big brother. I want two boys and two girls, all in good time of course. I've gotten mainly good reactions, but a few bad ones that made me sad. So far, i'm muy muy emotional and my sense of smell is absolutely horrid. I could be a rescue dog, I smell everything! And everything smells bad. Arby's and White Lime have been my first cravings and i've taken to apple juice as well. I have a top 4 for the Boy name list and the Girl name list. Now only time will tell what comes next..

Garden time

I decided to plant peppermint in th backyard. Kenzie helped me pull up all the weeds and churn the soil and everything. We put a little bunny family there to watch over it as it grows. Peppermint is apparently a really agressive plant so it should grow well, everyone says. I love making peppermint tea so i hope a lot grows. I thought this would be a good little project during the day.

My first Valentine

Thomas King. Thomas. Allen. King. That man is wonderful haha. For this Valentine's Day, a non-holiday i'd sworn to hate forever, Thomas had many surprises for me..

He came home with a huge bag from Peony's, he even got a thing of shrimp for me, he can't eat it. Also, i got a stuffed animal Giraffe, (inside joke with friends), who presented me with a giant Hershey's Kiss in pink foil. Aaaand, he got me the last of these roses, made of feathers! He thought i'd like them because of their uniqueness, and was spot on. They are magnificent. He also got a rose that plays my favorite song, Fur Elise by Beethoven. I have yet to figure out a way to start eating the Kiss.. And i sleep with my giraffe every night. After my presents, he took me to see the movie Valentine's Day. It was fun. The first time i've done anything for V day. I got Thomas a present too, btw.. All in all, the day was a success. <3

Christmas 2009

Thomas and i had a horrible christmas. just kidding. It was really good. We both got lots of stuff we wanted. For our own christmas Thomas and i exchanged gifts. I got him a wooden chest for his rare coin collection and a video game for his computer. and he got me a laptop. An ACER. i love it <3 We got two things for ourselves also, we had to repaint them and all. We got a bookshelf thing, and a handmade chest. From my parents, Thomas got a video game pack for his computer, and a halo shirt i knew he wanted. For me, they tricked me into thinking they only got kenzie one but i got an InStyler as well, and pink boots :) Kenzie got us a Joker poster which we promptly put up under our blacklight in front of our computer desk. Tyson and Autumn got Thomas a knife which he finds neessary to flash in my face on a daily basis. haha. He loves it. And gpa an gma got us chairs cuz we don hav any. I feel very lucky to have Thomas with me and be able to share christmas with him this year. He made it even more wonderful than i could have imagined. ♥ Here are some pictures of all we got..

The first huge obstacle Thomas and i have faced together has been with the car. The cop taking the car from me was not cheap. 170 for the tow and 45 each day after that. My dad an Thomas worked it out an we got it out quickly, we had to go clear out to aguanga 0.o However we are now indebted to my parents a sum of 900 bucks haha. joy. We will pay it off within two months im sure. When we live out there for a while, were gonna live there at the end of this month when our lease is up so we can save money to go to oklahoma and live for a year or two, idk. Anyways, i took a few pictures of th tow place to remember this lovely event.

I now completely understand why people loathe policemen. Thomas's car got taken today for "not bein registered." our temp tag is ripped halfway off so he pulled me over. He was such a jerk too. He made me get out of the car then he opened all the doors and was looking at all the stuff in the car. When i told him i was going to do laundry at my parents house he just stared at me, "your ~~parents~~ house?" He didn't explain anything to me and two seconds later my cars being loaded onto a tow truck! Not even told that my car was being taken, i got to sit on the curb with my laundry and bags and wait for my dad. The cop wouldn't talk to Thomas or my dad. He said he ran th VIN through oklahoma but he kept saying "..since its not registered in california.." The tow was $170 and its $45 a day to be there. Now we can't go to Disneyland for christmas. I hate that cop :( Ruined everything. He obviously had nothing to do and wanted to make money. Cops play god, it's disgusting. Well, ima go now, lots to do tomorro for the car.

Thomas wants a few things he saw in th movie store Saturday Matinee. I have pictures, an ODST Halo shirt, a nightmare before xmas lamp, and a double blender from Walmart.

I need a straightener and a curling iron so i was looking at dual ones an i hav two example pictures, i like th heels at hot topic with pink sequin skulls on them, and i need to get a new phone, blackberry 8520 i believe, which is 100 with th full upgrade.
